APT Sound Testing undertook sound insulation testing on a truly unique development in Stevenage.

The Skyline Serviced Apartments development included 150, studio suites, one and two bedroom apartments all within walking distance of Stevenage Station.

APT Sound Testing’s team of engineers carried out sample sound testing to establish the acoustic performance of the existing wall and floor partitions; thereafter an acoustic design review was carried out to ensure the acoustic partitions would meet the standards of Building Regulations Part E.

Finally we carried out sound insulation testing between the units wall and floor partitions, which subsequently passed.
